Hi, I’m John Card.
I’m a project manager by day, but in my spare time, I’m almost certainly out exploring the roads around Reigate and the wider Surrey countryside. I started this site as a way to document the routes I love, track my progress, and hopefully share some great rides with others in our community.
My Cycling Journey
I’ve been an active road cyclist for some time—you’ll usually find me riding my 2017 Boardman Road Comp. I’m currently deep in training for the Ride Reigate 100k, a challenge that keeps me focused on building my endurance and refining my pace. Whether I’m tinkering with high-performance upgrades or just looking for a scenic route with a good coffee stop, I’m always planning the next ride.
About This Project
This website is a personal passion project. I enjoy the technical challenge of building out this repository, from working with WordPress and custom GPX mapping tools to figuring out how to best display ride statistics. It’s a work in progress, much like my training, and I hope you find these routes useful for your own adventures.
